AIP’s programs help young people to overcome challenges and to make healthy choices. We surround students with caring staff role models, a positive peer environment, academic supports, and a safe space where they can express themselves and practice good judgment. Our goal is to give them the tools they need to succeed in school and in life. All of our programs—special education classes, mental health services, and out-of-school time programs—build on the strengths in students’ lives.
The families of our students are AIP’s most important partners, so we work very closely with parents, guardians, and other family members. We phone families regularly, meet with parents/guardians frequently, and expect parents or guardians to make regular contact with us and to be involved in their children’s education. Families are welcome to visit any of AIP’s programs at any time.
